What if love wasn’t just something you felt—but something you needed to stay alive?
Virus, the upcoming 2025 Korean movie, directed by Kang Yi Kwan, focuses on this particular idea. The story of this Korean movie is about a virus that doesn’t attack the body, but our emotional feeling. Those infected with this virus have just five days to fall in love. If they fail to fall in love then they die.
The story of Virus Korean movie revolves around Ok Taek Seon, played by Bae Doona. Unaware of the fact that she is infected by this unique Virus, Ok Taek Seon stays calm and composed. Her ordinary life starts becoming extraordinary the moment people around her start falling ill.

Another important character in this Korean movie is Lee Gyun, played by Kim Yoon Seok, a senior researcher who knows about this Virus and tries to make sense of everything. As he tracks the virus and its pattern, he begins to realize that the solution may not be found under a microscope—but in human emotions.
And then there’s Nam Soo Pil, portrayed by Son Suk-ku. He meets Taek Seon on a blind date and from the newly released movie stills, it appears like Soo Pil has fallen in love with Taek Seon (who seem uninterested).
