SBS has officially released the teaser trailer of its upcoming Kdrama, The Haunted Palace.
This official new video gives us a glimpse of Yook Sung Jae’s character Yoon Gap, being possessed by Imugi. For those unaware, Imugi is a type of dragon in Korean folklore. They are “seen as proto-dragon” with an ability to evolve into full dragon.
The Haunted Palace (2025) is a historical supernatural fantasy K-drama. In the drama, Yeo-ri (Kim Ji-yeon), who is a shaman’s granddaughter, refuses to accept her spiritual powers and tries to live as a simple glassmaker. But things change when her first love, Yoon-gap (Yook Sung-jae) is possessed by Kang Cheol, an Imugi, longing to become a dragon.
The story explores how Yeo-ri tries to save him. With the help of King Lee Seong (Kim Ji-hoon), she uncovers a deadly secret that ties the Imugi, and the royal family together.
